Giveaway: Signed STARTERS pack and 5 Places You Shouldn't Read It

Think we were done with all the STARTERS awesomeness?  No way.  I'm very pleased to offer the grand prize: a brand new, personalized, hardcopy cover of the novel along with a Starters wristband.

Now I've had the pleasure of reading Starters, but I made a crucial mistake.  I read it at the gym where there is a large population of very lovely (I'm sure) Enders.  Lissa's book had me casting suspicious glances over my shoulder, which is dangerous when you're on an elliptical.  So in an effort to keep you from making my mistake, here are 5 places you might not want to read this chilling, thrilling novel!

5.  The mall before or after closing
4.  The warm water pool at your gym
3.  Estate Sales
2.  Miami
1.  Denny's

Here's what people are saying about STARTERS:

“…twists along with multiple-identity switcheroos and chase scenes
worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster… the inevitable sequel can’t appear
soon enough.” Booklist

“Fans of The Hunger Games will love it.” - Kami Garcia, coauthor of
the bestselling BEAUTIFUL CREATURES trilogy (being made into a film
by Richard LaGravenese).

“Adrenaline-spiked action and cyber-punk intrigue combine in this sci-fi
thriller.” -- Barnes & Noble March Pick of the Month for Teens.

To win the prize mentioned above, leave a comment below.  A winner will be chosen at random (US only!).

Awesome! The book trailer for Starters is great and the reviews I've been reading have definitely put it on my wish list. Thanks for the giveaway and also for the reading tips, or rather "don't read in these places" tips. Though the only one I could ever imagine reading in would be Denny's, but I'd rather just stay on my couch.

I got an advanced copy of this book and show it to my students. They were in awe of the cover! And one girl snatched it up wanting to review it for me :)

Whew. Good thing I already stay away from Denny's, because there's really no need to add further creepiness to this book. LOVE it!

Thanks!

and now I understand the title. I can't wait to read this! But I will probably end up reading it curled up on the floor of my room and in the car, the same way I read Divergent and Uglies. :P

I saw this on the shelf at the store yesterday, but didn't have the cash to buy a new book. It looks great.

Very nice. I live in a city where being young is odd so perhaps it isn't safe here. The old people are always nosing into our business.

I think I am going to read it alone, in the daylight. O_O I think that's the only way I'll manage not to be completely terrified. I've heard amazing things about this, but I've also heard that it scares people shitless. Which, of course, makes me all the more excited to read it.

I just read Starters a day ago, and it was so good! Especially the ending... Enders. Must come. I must say it was amusing--probably more than called for--to tell my friends about starting a book called Starters.
