What are YOU reading?

Guys, I'm sorry! I'm swamped right now--I'm getting back from tour, wrapping up Book 2, and starting Book 3.

But--I wanted to ask you. What is your favorite current book, or favorite book of 2011? I've had so many lately--DIVERGENT kept me awake at night, WITHER made me cry, HOURGLASS wouldn't let me go. What are you reading?

(And sorry for the bit of a cop-out today; I promise to be intellectual next week!)

One of my favourites of this year so far is Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I'm currently reading My Soul to keep by Rachel Vincent.

I haven't read Divergent, Wither or Hourglass yet, but hopefully soon.

I enjoyed meeting you, Beth, on the book tour and thank you for signing my book.

The two books this year that I've read in basically one day because they were that good was ACROSS THE UNIVERSE by Beth Revis (yes, yours. :)) and CREEP by Jennifer Hillier. I'm now reading Amber Argyle's WITCH SONG, and it's so beautifully written. I'm quite enjoying it.

I've read a lot of great books so far this year.

Going Bovine was, by far, the funniest.
An Atlas of Impossible Longing by Anuradha Roy and Fearless by Tim Lott were the ones that made me think the most.
Ready Player One and The Map of Time were the most fun reads.
Tighter and Shadows on the Moon were the best re-tellings.
Jasper Jones was the best coming-of-age.

And there's several more - Blood Red Road, Memento Nora, Across the Universe, A Chemical Fire, Welcome to Bordertown, The Iron Thorn...

I just finished and am in love with Laini Taylor's Daughter of Smoke and Bone. That, Matched, The Name of the Wind & Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss are my faves so far this year.

And I am in the midst of reading your very own Across the Universe! I am flying through and having trouble putting it down. You did such a good job of making me feel the clausterphobia of Amy's cryo experience and being trapped in the finite space of the Godspeed. Also, the Season shananagins are cray cray. Totally enjoying it!
